Very good breakfasts, outstandingly accommodating staff.
Exceptionally comfortable and fabulous accommodation with excellent setting adjacent to another pub for food and drink, the restaurant in the evening where the staff were friendly, and a lovely old town. Comfortable atmosphere and main bar.

It is in perfect and handy location to Granborough Village Hall, set a minute walk from the hotel. It's in a gorgeous building in the nice area.
Nothing, it is perfect.

Room noise levels quite intrusive, especially from the street traffic. Sash windows do little to block sound. Limited toiletries and a rather small bathroom sink complicated daily routines, especially with a kettle. Decent breakfast options, but not abundant. Leftovers didn't inspire confidence in freshness. The en-suite water noises disrupted sleep, suggesting maintenance could improve the experience. Consider asking for a room away from the street if you value a good night's rest.

This place suits me perfectly. I enjoy the free wi-fi, the cozy bar area, and the friendly 24-hour reception. I won't forget how the staff helped me retrieve my earpods. Definitely coming back for a weekend!

I really liked the two receptionists who were friendly but most of all real people with a good sense of humour. Other staff members were also very good. The location was ideal for an overnight stay and the hotel full of "olde worlde" character. By chance the location was also perfect as this was a business trip and the customer who was being visited lived in Winslow and the Hotel was his recommendation.
The room was small but of no consequence for an overnight stay. The TV facilities were not to a standard needed for an extended stay but the character of the Hotel made it an enjoyable experience when having to stay in Premier/Holiday inns in the UK much of the year. There was a smell of food from the Kitchen extractors in the corridor but probably difficult to manage in such an old building.

I did find the room rather hot even though we turned the radiator off and opened the window the temp was still too hot for our comfort but asisde from that no other complaints at all

Decent stay with a few bumps
Had a comfy room with a huge bed, but noise from the main road kept us up. Breakfast was really good, and there's a nice bar area to chill at. It was annoying not having any toiletries, just soap bars. If you're looking to relax, ask for a quiet room away from traffic. Otherwise, a solid place!

Nice old world feel to the entire building, I always enjoy staying here when I have a local meeting
Breakfast was not up to usual standard, food was not hot enough.

The Bell is clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. It's good value for a small town hotel. The room and bathroom were very large and furnished well. Comfortable beds. It is quite quaint and pleasant and the bar and waiting staff are friendly.
Reception staff could have been a little more helpful when told of a slight problem with the room. In our bathroom the shampoo and shower gel dispenser was not working, and the plug was slightly blocked meaning the water pooled in the bath as you were showering, however when we pointed this out to reception staff on checkout (so they could rectify for the next guest - it wasn't a complaint) the response we got was "Oh.You must have been pushing it the wrong way". To clarify, I don't find dispensers to be particularly challenging and it was certainly broken. Push is not a hard direction to follow. They obviously were not particularly bothered about rectifying this for the next guest and the receptionist's leisurely attitude did put a slight dampener on our experience. Also, there was a lot of noise in the hotel from Wedding guests and the nearby pubs at closing time - but this is quite usual for hotels in the centre of any town.
